A: After repeated testing and refinement by Caudabe, the Sheath’s matte surface delivers an exceptionally premium texture that’s hard for other brands to replicate. We’re confident that the moment you first touch the Sheath, you’ll fall in love with its feel—oil-resistant, non-slip, and secure in hand.
Q: Is the Sheath drop-proof and scratch-resistant?
A: It has passed a 2-meter (6.6-ft) drop test, providing ample protection against everyday drops and impacts. The specially formulated matte material is highly scratch-resistant—even light cuts from a utility blade leave no obvious marks.
Q: What material is the Sheath case made of?
A: Made from Caudabe’s proprietary ShockLite™ material developed in the USA. It’s extremely lightweight with high elasticity and will not loosen over time, even with long-term use.
Q: Is the Sheath compatible with full-coverage screen protectors?
A: Designed for high-impact protection, the Sheath slightly wraps inward around the screen. We recommend using the Crystal Shield tempered glass screen protector (2-pack) designed specifically for Caudabe products (available as an add-on below the product).
If using other brands, choose a protector with a slightly smaller coverage area (commonly available at phone accessory retailers). Install the case first, then apply the screen protector to avoid edge lifting. Misalignment may also cause edge lifting.
Q: Does the Sheath support third-party charging cables?
A: Yes. It supports most charging cable brands, with an enlarged charging port design.
Q: Does the Sheath support standard wireless charging or MagSafe chargers?
A: Yes. The Sheath supports wireless charging and features a built-in MagSafe magnetic ring, compatible with MagSafe chargers and accessories such as car mounts, MagSafe wallets, and floating chargers.
Note: When attaching accessories or the case, the MagSafe logo will not appear on the screen. Only Apple’s own products trigger the MagSafe logo, which does not affect functionality.
Q: How do I clean the Sheath MagSafe case?
A: Remove the case and wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Do not let water contact the interior to avoid detaching the MagSafe magnets. Proper care will help extend the case’s lifespan.
Q: Is the Sheath easy to install and remove?
A: Yes. The Sheath is a ShockLite™ protective soft case with excellent elasticity, making installation and removal easy. Avoid excessive twisting or force to prevent damage to the internal MagSafe adhesive layer.
